About Rebekah Blanchette, DDS

When she was only four years old, Dr. Blanchette told her mom that she wanted to be a doctor “so she could help people”. Originally she wanted to be a pediatrician but became fascinated with dentistry while completing her undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Maine. She went on to receive a degree in dentistry from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Today, Dr. Blanchette loves dentistry for the same reason she envisioned as a little girl – she gets to help people.

Dr. Blanchette lives in Winterport with her husband, Jason, their dog, Hercules, and their two cats, Booker and Prima. She enjoys hiking, running, tennis, reading, cooking, spending time with her family, and crocheting afghans.

She devotes many hours to continuing education and in is currently a member of The American Dental Association, The Academy of General Dentistry, Maine Dental Association and Penobscot Valley Dental Society.
